"Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord."  Psalm 45:11. 

This painting was completed live at the Amazing Women conference in August.  

It was a precious moment realizing women's lives were being touched by the hand of God through this painting.

Afterwards, women came up to me and shared how the painting touched their lives.  One woman in particular commented that before she came to the conference, she started reading a book a friend gave her and it talked about dancing with Jesus.  She thought it was really pretty silly and she didn't "get" it.  However, when she saw what I was painting, tears, poured from her eyes and she had an epiphany.  She realized she was holding back from Him.  She was putting up roadblocks to His amazing love.  He wanted her to know all He wanted was that intimacy that could only be achieved by opening up her heart to His, so he could "dance" with her.  Love her.  Cherish her.  Adore her.

The Psalmist says "Let" the king be enthralled with your beauty.  Let him.  Allow him to adore you.  Let the king be enthralled with your beauty.  He is saying you are beautiful!  No more hiding; it's time to be vulnerable and let Him see you in your nakedness.  Your sin.  That is why He died for you.  Not so you could come to him when you were looking good and doing good.  He loves you enough to say, you are beautiful, even in the filth of your sin.  That, my friend, is true love.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 

You are loved, you are beautiful, and you are valuable, just the way you are. 

Let the king be enthralled with your beauty.  Honor him, for he is your lord.

Based on the scripture:  "Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.  When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.  When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”  Luke 5:18-20

Sunday August 27, Pastor Jonathan Miller of New Beginnings in Orlando, FL spoke an inspired message on this verse.  Above is the inspirational painting I completed during the healing service as I visually interpreted the spoken message and written Word.  Five men used their faith to help their friend; it was THEIR faith Jesus saw, which leads us to believe perhaps the paralyzed man had lost faith.  Perhaps he had been paralyzed so long he had lost hope and found it hard to believe he would ever get healed.  When Jesus says your sins are forgiven to him, does that mean the sin of unbelief? 

We encourge one another when we are part of a local church, which helps bring victory over our unbelief when times get hard and we wonder if we are ever going to get our breakthrough.  In this visual interpretation, the chord of lit-up FAITH is a link of the believers' faith which connects through the body of Christ, accessing His power, bringing healing to those who have lost their faith or are hurting, lost, tired, unsure.  Sometimes we all need the bright light of faith to boost us to breakthrough.  It's okay to say we need help!   This painting is sure to bring healing to those who understand the message and from Whom it came.  Be encouraged...
