This lush field filled with lupines makes me want to take off my shoes and spin wild.  This was painted from a photo taken by Paul Pluswik who lives in my stomping grounds of Minnesota near Ely/Virginia and what is known as the Iron Range.  He so kindly has allowed me to paint from his photo and I can't thank him enough for the opportunity to express the love of my homeland through the paintings I have been producing inspired by his work!  Enjoy and be blessed...
