December 31, 2018 was a beautiful day for plein air painting at the springs in Longwood, FL! This bridge caught my attention, so I set up my easel nearby and began to paint. I was with a former student who set up near me. It was nice to have someone nearby to paint with! We had a lovely day and this was the result of my plein air efforts for the day. I didn't really think about why the bridge inspired me, but afterwards I realized that bridges are symbols of transition.
