"Shrimp on the Barbie" is a playful piece with swirls of shrimp and punches of complimentary colors.  My inspiration?  FL Hospital Gallery's theme:  "The Good Life is..."  What leaped to mind?  Why, sitting on the deck here in Florida cooking shrimp on the barbeque with friends and family, laughing and enjoying life.  I guess if you don't happen to be a shrimp lover, this would not appeal to you, but perhaps the swirls of color and craziness of the piece might bring a smile to your face, even if the thought of this delightful delicacy in itself did not.  So eat, drink, and be merry with "Shrimp on the Barbie."  Nom nom!  

Prayer:  Father, thank you that we can enjoy our family in friends that so often corrrespond with food!  We are so grateful for your provision and the delicacies which you have given us to nourish our bodies with.  Wow, what a treat!  Bless our family and friends and multiply our time with them as we cherish times spent cooking, barbequeing, laughing, and sharing with them.  In Your Name we pray, amen.
