There's something about being submerged in the ocean where you hear nothing but stillness or gurgly bubbles coming from your gear and your eyes feast on the vast beauty of what lies beneath the surface in what appears to be a whole new world.  I love that stillness.  I love what I see.  I particularly love turtles, because, they're, like, wow, man -- they're, like, totally awesome "Crush" clones.  I keep looking for Nemo and Marvin, so perhaps on my next visit, I will be able to record and paint the reunion of these happy clown fish.  There are so many fascinating creature under the sea.  I think I could spend a whole year painting them all.  I hope you have enjoyed this painting and live in awe, as I do, of the amazing underwater world of our Creator's handiwork.
